Vintage Federal Glass Refrigerator Box With Vegetable Motif Lid

Before Tupperware. Before plastic containers. We used glass boxes to keep our vegetables fresh. This glass refrigerator box made by Federal Glass in the 1940s is the perfect example. Can still be used today as a really nice display piece. A good collector's piece.

This piece with it's ribbed sides is in overall good condition. The top does have some chipping which is pretty common for these glass boxes. There are some scratches on the inside bottom but no cracks or cloudiness in the glass.

The box is 8-1/2" x 4-1/4" x 3-1/2".
