About Us

Our business started several years ago when a group of friends discovered a common interest in finding the treasures that can only be found in yard sales, storage and estate auctions. Over the years of accumulating treasures we were soon to realize we did not have the space to keep everything and there was actually a market for some of our finds. A following of antique dealers and specialized buyers just naturally developed over time. As there was so much interest it was evident it was time share our finds with the world. We created Our Rusty Barn for that purpose.

All of the products you will find on our site are items we would have in our own personal collections. The majority of our products are well loved and taken care of by the original owners. Some may have been put away and forgotten for several years and some have been displayed proudly. Most items are in good or excellent condition while others may have experienced slight to well used ware. Still others may be rare finds in aged condition. The condition of each product is fully disclosed, most with pictures. All products are sold "as is". You can contact us if you have any questions.

We are learning every day, but we are by no means experts in everything we sell. We do our best to provide a description and share what we know about the item. If you have any further questions we encourage you to ask before making your purchase.
